On Jan. 24, 2024, at 2 a.m., Edson RCMP responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a local residence.
Upon arrival, it was determined that two people were injured and both were transported by EMS to a local hospital.
They have since been released from the hospital.
An investigation ensued and, as a result, William Daniel Moyan (64), a resident of Edson, was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
Moyan was brought before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody.
His next court appearance is set for Feb. 6, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Edson.
