Ryan Uytdewilligen is a reporter with Great West Media. He studied Broadcast Journalism at Lethbridge College, which led to radio news reporting, traffic anchoring, and creative writing. He switched gears to print journalism in 2019, reporting for the Langley Advance Times before taking over as editor of the Aldergrove Star. His freelance work has appeared in The Toronto Star, The Chicago Tribune, and Quirk Magazine to name a few. He is a published author with fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books under his belt.
