RICE, Kenneth - May 27th, 1950 - September 28th, 2023
Born Kenneth Duane Rice on May 27th, 1950. Kenny grew up in the United Sates but his interest in Canada took him there as a young man. The day he received his Canadian Citizenship was one of the happiest days of his life.
Kenny was a people person, was active in the church and was a very talented pianist and vocalist. He absolutely loved living in Jasper. When Kenny moved into Alpine Summit in 2011, he quickly settled in. He will be fondly remembered for his joyous piano playing, his poetic letter writing and his sense of humour. Many will remember his little mouse pranks.
Kenny passed away peacefully into Heaven on September 28th, 2023. He will be missed by his wonderful friends in Jasper Alberta and by his sister Anne in Arizona. He is predeceased by his loving parents, Burt Rice and Melba Loren Rice.
Rest in the arms of Jesus dear Kenny.
A service will be held on Wednesday November 1st at the Jasper Anglican Church at 2:00pm. Thank you to the staff of Seton Hospital and Alpine Summit Seniors Lodge.
