HOME, Lisa Lynne - September 26, 1968 to September 29th, 2023
It is with great sadness and much love that we have to say goodbye to our Lisa.
She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Lisa passed away surrounded by family on September 29th, 2023 at the age of 55.
Lisa is survived by her mother Edna Home and her son Tony “Joel” Home Spence. Lisa is also survived by her half brother Cameron.
She leaves many relatives and friends behind to forever cherish her memory.
Lisa was predeceased by her father Harry Home in 2020, her brother Tony Home in 1995, and her nephew Tyler in 1994.
Lisa was born in Jasper on September 26, 1968. She made Jasper her lifelong home. Lisa loved to travel and loved adventure but she always came back to Jasper.
As per Lisa’s final wishes there will not be a formal service. Her hope was that everyone who knew and loved her would “raise a glass” in her memory.
Edna and Joel want to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Jasper Healthcare Centre and also the doctors and nurses at the Royal Alex Hospital in Edmonton who have cared for, and supported her throughout her illness. The family would also like to thank Dr. Sana Vahidy and her team who were Lisa’s pulmonary team throughout her illness.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations can be made to a charity of their choice in Lisa’s memory.
