Santa waved holiday cheer to Jasperites during the morning of December 12 from the top of a fire truck driven by firefighter Nik Kellis.

Kelly Dawson, firefighter and administrative assistant with Protective Services, led the way in the Jasper Volunteer Fire Brigade command vehicle, and Constable Tanner Flinn, Jasper RCMP, followed in a patrol vehicle.

The parade of bright lights wound its way around town from one end to the other.

"We decided to do a Santa drive-by so kids had an opportunity to see Santa this year and we wanted to raise money for Santas Anonymous," Dawson said in an email.

She said this way social distancing was achieved.

In return, they asked that people support Santas Anonymous and donate via e-transfers to [email protected].

Dawson sent a wish of happy holidays to everyone.
