
A snowfall warning is in effect for the Icefield Parkway (Highway 93) from Jasper to the Saskatchewan River Crossing.
According to Environment Canada warning, released at 4:03 p.m. on Friday, February 28, heavy snow is forecast to begin this evening
Snow will accumulate along Highway 93 and totals near and south of Saskatchewan River Crossing are expected to be between 10 to 20 cm, however locally higher amounts are possible.
Reduced visibility in blowing and drifting snow is also possible throughout the day on Saturday.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
