The Jasper Fire Department responded to two structure fires over the weekend, including one at Bear Hill Lodge at 4:56 a.m. on Saturday.
Upon arrival at Bear Hill Lodge, one cabin was fully involved, and the fire had extended to a second cabin through the roof.
The fire department responded with the command unit, aerial and engine trucks.
Crews were able to extinguish the fires in both cabins, which were unoccupied.
No injuries to civilians or firefighters were sustained.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Firefighters also responded to a structure fire at a garage on Turret Street at 2:26 p.m. on Sunday, with a command unit and engine truck.
Crews managed to extinguish the fire in a timely manner, preventing the fire from spreading to the nearby house.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
