Before we turned back the clocks, the Bisons turned on the attack for two nights.
The Carstar Okotoks Bisons (11-3) scored 20 goals combined in convincing wins over the Three Hills Thrashers and High River Brewing Co. Flyers in Heritage Junior Hockey League action on Nov. 1 and 2.
On Saturday, Okotoks secured its second win of the season over High River in a 5-1 result on First Responders Appreciation Night at the Murray Arena.
Eleven players registered a point with Jake Snashall, Easton Dean, Ty Russell, McCallum Bakken and Seamus Garagan found the back of the net, the latter tallying his first since rejoining the team.
Sam Callahan, Zephyr Laplante and Avery Greig each chipped in with two assists with Dylan Walker earning his seventh win in a 19-save performance.
The Bisons cruised to a 15-1 win on Friday in Three Hills as Callahan added to his league-leading totals with a five-goal performance to lead the HJHL with 18 markers.
Brandon Jarman notched a hat trick Dean, Snashall and Jakob Semeniuk posted two-goal games and blueliner Caden Scott posted a five-assist evening.
At the other end of the ice, Connor White earned his third win in four starts with 20 saves.
This week, Okotoks will look to solidify first in the South Division with a home date versus the third place Medicine Hat Cubs on Nov. 8 followed by a road game against the second seed Agra Risk Wheatland Kings in Strathmore.
