Hinton RCMP are asking the public to help identify a suspect who may have stolen a wallet earlier in May.
Police were first made aware May 3 of a wallet being stolen from a vehicle.
The credit card was used to make purchases at the local Esso and the 7-Eleven at 5 a.m. that morning before it was cancelled.
Hinton RCMP obtained surveillance video but were unable to identify the suspect.
Anyone with information regarding the theft or suspect’s identity is asked to contact the Hinton RCMP detachment at 780-865-2455 or Crime Stoppers.
