Voting closes next week to decide finalists in the Top of the Country competition

Voting closes next week to decide the Top 3 in national music competition, and an Alberta singer-songwriter Brettyn Rose from Okotoks is in the running

Rose is one of eight semi-finalists in the 2025 Top of the Country competition, presented by SiriusXM Canada and the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA). 

The eight artists have recorded original songs that fans can listen to and vote for on the competition’s website. 

Rose wrote and recorded When I Stop Loving You for the contest. 

Voting closes on April 8 and fans can cast one vote each day until the deadline. 

The three finalists will perform on some of Canada's biggest stages this year, and the winner will be announced in September, during Country Music Week 2025 in Kelowna, B.C.
